Harryette Mullen : interesting take on 2 lines
Here's a very good analysis of a poem by one American poet Harryette Mullen.
She just won the Academy of American Poets Fellowship 2009.
Take a look at how ROBIN TREMBLAY-MCGAW, at X POETICS, interprets these lines:
Night moon star sun down gown.
Night moan stir sin dawn gown.

A pantun dua kerat?
Yes, MM, this is not uncommon. Even Wendy Cope does it:
Two Cures for Love
by Wendy Cope
1.Don't see him. Don't phone or write a letter.
2.The easy way: get to know him better.
Well, I could say rhymed couplet, like Wendy Cope's. This seems more like a pantun's natural image/sound | meaning structure.
